#9 Echo in the Canyon

There aren’t a huge number of female voices, I’m trying to say. I mean, you talk to who is available, but Judy Collins is only mentioned in passing and Joni Mitchell not at all.

Bill Plympton was such a face of animation in the ’90s, and of course I saw all of his shorts on MTV, but never any of his full-length features.

#7 She Done Him Wrong

So, remember yesterday when I said that it was going to be all TCM from now on? I clearly lied.

#6 The Thin Man

When I said yesterday that I might just watch every movie on TCM from now on, I was not kidding!

#5 Hollywood Party

Actually, it’s about eight movies in one, and since apparently it had eight directors, each directing a different section, I’m not entirely shocked that it doesn’t really all mesh.

#4 Onward

I was warned that it was sad and would make me cry, and it sure was, but I don’t think there are many Pixar movies that haven’t made me cry, this one no more so than any other.

#3 The Secret of Kells

The animation is stunning, and so original and beautiful. It makes the best of all possible computer animation look cheap and shoddy.

#2 Fun and Fancy Free

Day two! I made it to Day 2! Where is my parade?

I did see the stage musical on election night of 2016, so I kind of resented it and thought of it as a bad luck show because of that fact. But kicking off 365 Films in 365 Days would change it around and make it good luck!
